Low stress Spiral wound gasket
In traditional spiral wound gaskets, the steel of the metal winding requires a significant clamping load to be properly compressed (y = 10,000 psi). Euroseal® Springtallic Low Stress was created for flanged connections with limited clamping capacity. This model was concerned to enhance the properties of the filler, by a specific manufacture of the alternance metal/filler in the winding. Excellent performance is achieved in this version even with a clamping load that does not exceed 25,000 psi.
