Tightening with torque control
They are carried out with hydraulic / oleodynamic torque wrenches on tie rods of any diameter. The tensioners apply the clamping load directly to the tie rod. It is possible to measure the residual tension by means of ultrasonic devices that evaluate the elongation. The hydraulic wrenches apply the tightening torque on the nut. It is possible to measure the residual tension by means of ultrasonic devices by evaluating the elongation.
Torque control allows to provide the tie rods with the required load and elongation and thus ensure the correct tightness of the flanged joint.
Tightening with induction thermal control
In the case of tightening large bolt layouts that require considerable mechanical stress, induction tightening is carried out on site with the heating of the tie rods. All this through an electrical resistance inserted in the axial hole produced by a special inductor.
Load control
The residual load control is carried out with an ultrasound system both on tightening performed with torque wrenches and on those made with tensioners. The purpose is to verify that the force exerted on the tie rod corresponds to the theoretically required value.
