Spiral Wound Gaskets

Spiral wound gaskets consist of a spiral winding of a metal tape, alternating with the sealing material. The first is V-shaped, acting as a spring and increasing springback. General Packing produces spiralwound gaskets in a great range of metals, like AISI 316, Alloy, titan, tantalum and over. The sealing material can be in graphite, PTFE or Thermoseal.
