Packing for valves and steam applications
An excellent valve stem packing for use in high temperature and pressure steam service.
The construction features an outer jacket of wire-reinforced carbon yarn over an improved core, allowing increased service life. The unique construction of the outer jacket encapsulates the INCONEL® alloy wire reinforcement in the carbon yarn. There is no wire in contact with the stem, making stem wear almost non existent.
Garlock 127 AFP packing requires 28% less compression and requires fewer braid adjustments; these features ensure exceptional sealing, less product loss and reduced maintenance costs.

General Packing supplies Garlock 127AFP graphite packing in standard sections from 1/8 to 1 inch and beyond. Special sections are available on request.
