High-Performance “Cup and Cone” Configuration
The Euroseal® Automatic 2622 features an advanced “cup and cone” design composed of seven rings in an optimized sequence:
- Two Top and Bottom anti-extrusion rings;
- Five central rings for uniform load distribution;
- Among these, two rings also serve as adapter rings, enhancing alignment with the valve stuffing box, ensuring mechanical strength and optimal compression.
Composition, Structure, and Operating Range
Made of expanded mineral graphite reinforced with Inconel mesh and corrosion inhibitors – packing Euroseal® 2622 – , the Euroseal® Automatic 2622 delivers exceptional sealing performance under severe conditions:
- Operating temperature* up to 650 °C;
- Operating pressure* up to 700 bar;
- Suitable for aggressive media including hydrocarbons, steam, and non-oxidizing chemicals.
