QUICKSET® version configured to offer consistent sealing performance over a wide temperature range in shallow stuffing boxes.
Excellent oxidation resistance in high temperature steam applications.
Field proven Garlock “Cup and Cone” design allowing radial expansion and conformability to accommodate valves that may not be in ideal condition.
Provides a high level of sealing with less stem friction compared to braided ring or taller sets.

Anti extrusion sealing rings

The GARLOCK® 9001 QUICKSET® set is designed and configured to offer consistent sealing performance over a wide temperature range and with shallow glands, combining the advantages of GARLOCK® 9000-EVSP in an even more compact design. This helps reduce friction on the valve stem compared to other models, making it more efficient and less expensive. The system is made up of five rings, three in pure low density graphite and two adapters in GARLOCK® 1303-FEP, with different tapers in order to guarantee controlled radial expansion and compression.
