What is Garlock GRAPH-LOCK® 3125TC
Garlock GRAPH-LOCK® 3125TC is a sheet material for industrial gaskets made of purified natural graphite with a 316 stainless steel tang insert. The graphite is expanded at high temperature and then compressed into sheets with a minimum graphite content of 98%, while the metal reinforcement improves handling and material stability during cutting, installation, and operation.
Material composition and structure
Garlock Graph-Lock 3125TC is composed of:
- high-purity purified natural graphite
- minimum graphite content of 98%
- 316 stainless steel tang insert
- black color
The metal reinforcement overcomes one of the typical limitations of pure graphite sheets, namely fragility during handling.
