Euroseal® 2303 AOS Packing – Reliable Sealing Even at Extreme Temperatures

Euroseal® 2303 AOS packing is designed to ensure maximum reliability under extremely demanding operating conditions, such as high temperatures.

Made from braided filaments of Euroseal® Thermoseal — a highly resistant aluminum silicate — and Inconel, a high-performance metal alloy, this packing delivers a unique combination of mechanical strength, adaptability, and chemical stability.

The Thermoseal structure provides high dielectric rigidity, outstanding chemical stability, and exceptional resistance to high temperatures — up to 850°C in steam environments — without oxidation. The addition of Inconel wire ensures mechanical reinforcement, making this packing suitable for pressures up to 200 bar and intense thermal cycling, while maintaining its shape and sealing performance.

Thanks to its excellent adaptability to the stuffing box, Euroseal® 2303 AOS is ideal for control valves, especially where long-term performance is required in aggressive, corrosive, or abrasive environments. It offers full chemical compatibility across the entire pH range from 0 to 14. It is also the perfect solution for use as top and bottom rings in multi-ring configurations.

Technical Advantages for use the high-temperature packing Euroseal®

  • Advanced composition: Euroseal® Thermoseal + Inconel for maximum thermal and mechanical resistance.
  • Stable and long-lasting sealing: does not degrade or oxidize up to 850°C.
  • Adaptability: fits perfectly even in worn stuffing boxes.
  • Chemical versatility: compatible with all fluids from pH 0 to 14.

Technical FAQ

What is Euroseal® 2303 AOS packing?

Euroseal® 2303 AOS is a high-performance braided packing made of Thermoseal filaments and Inconel wire. It is designed to ensure maximum sealing under extreme temperature and pressure conditions.

What temperatures and pressures can Euroseal® 2303 AOS withstand?

Euroseal® 2303 AOS resists up to 850 °C in the presence of steam and can withstand a maximum pressure of 200 bar. It is chemically stable across the full pH range from 0 to 14.

In which applications is Euroseal® 2303 AOS used?

It is particularly recommended for control valves and plants subject to high thermal cycles. Thanks to its adaptability, it can be installed in any stuffing box.

Is Euroseal® 2303 AOS packing compatible with aggressive fluids?

Yes. It is inert when in contact with chemically aggressive, abrasive, and corrosive fluids. For this reason, it is ideal for chemical plants, petrochemical facilities, power stations, and steelworks.

What distinguishes Euroseal® 2303 AOS from other packings?

Compared to traditional packings, Euroseal® 2303 AOS provides higher thermal resistance, does not oxidize up to 850 °C, and ensures superior sealing even under thermal shock conditions.

Is Euroseal® 2303 AOS suitable for use on control valves?

Yes. Its reliability during thermal cycles and high adaptability make it the ideal solution for control valves.
