Euroseal® Automatic Packing – Preformed Rings for Optimal Radial Expansion with Low Load
The Euroseal® Automatic configuration is a technical solution developed by General Packing as a valve stem sealing set.
In its standard configuration, this packing set consists of 7 preformed rings: two top and bottom rings made of Euroseal® 2333 packing for anti-extrusion, three central sealing rings, and two adapter rings with differentiated shape and density.
The conical design of the inner rings, combined with the use of Euroseal® graphite of varying densities, enables high radial expansion even with reduced tightening loads—optimizing sealing performance without the need for mechanical preloading via springs.
The result is a responsive packing set capable of dynamically adapting to operating conditions, delivering consistent performance over the long term.
